roger55,
are those new vent covers or did you refinish the originals?

I blasted them, epoxy primered and painted with base/clear. The silver is a code for a GM silver they used on many different late model cars. The clear is SPI Universal Clear. |

Re: 55-59 interiors
Just saw this on the 55-59 Chevy Pickups group on Facebook.
Kind of takes the whole interior thing to a new level.....

Re: 55-59 interiors
That's very nice work. Far above what I tend to produce.

Re: 55-59 interiors
Ok, none of these interiors are mine. They're photos I've collected to use as references when I do my own truck's interior. Hope you like them.

Re: 55-59 interiors
Roger; I'm kinda new to the group, but been on here for a while. I've been off work since the 19th due to plant shut down for the Holidays. Checked up on the group the other day, saw you interior pics and WOW. So off I went reading your build thread, took me two and a half full days reading everyones comments and responses.Quit the gentlemen you are Roger sharing all your learned experiences with us all. Let me just say you have really outdone yourself with this build for your wife. The quality and craftsmanship you have instilled into her truck is, all I can say is Benchmark Excellence. But this is for your wife so that much work and detail put into it is to be expected for her safety. My hats off to you Roger, I think we all on the group will be trying to reach you quality mark. One last thing, congrats on your best of show trophies for the truck and car, Well deserved for sure. I think if you had put the in-liner back in, (yes I love the TPI), your truck would be a Conquers Trophy truck and used for and example for ALL restores. Everything you've done on the 57 is just exemplary. Well done... Rich...
