63' 1/2 ton breather question

My truck has an oil bath cleaner on it but the carb has a neck for a conventional filter type breather? Which is OEM for this year?
Thanks,

The oil bath would have been stock.

Re: 63' 1/2 ton breather question

Thanks. Pulled the Rochester B off and the number search says it is a 64' for 292. Makes sense I guess, jetted 73. I guess a 64 would not have been oil bath maybe?
Incidently, like the Ol GMC videos.

Re: 63' 1/2 ton breather question

The oil bath air cleaner was an option in 63 on some but standard on other models.

Re: 63' 1/2 ton breather question

The oil bath air cleaner on 63 292 was only used when Power Brakes were ordered. The regular air cleaner for 63 is the single snorkel paper element without power brakes.
