76 heater blower motor won't run on high?

turning a 76 k5 into my daily. trying to get everything back in working order, blazer has factory ac. replaced dash controls, blower relay (3 of them), and the resistor, everything but high works. if we jump the relay it works. I'm going nuts. any imput would be great. thanks!

got it. inline fuse on firewall. orange wire goes into harness and is red other side of inline holder. the two inches of orange out of the black loom were cruddy and couldn't tell.

No high blower speed could be the blower relay. It's down low on the RH side of the big AC evaporator housing.
