dbw pedal help

so i've got a 2006 lm7 swap in my truck, harness and pcm have been flashed, motor runs smooth but i have NO pedal at all. I've got the #12590008 tac module and the 6 wire truck pedal and i get nothing. i can hear the throttle move when i first give it power but thats it.

where do i start?

I've even tried an 2003-2005 tac/pedal and that didnt work either

Scan for codes (GOOD scanner or HPT). Do you see any codes (code U0107 for example is a clear indicator of dbw connection). A few things can cause it, code will help us aim.

The initial noise is the dbw check on the TB, its a sign the TB isn't mechanically broken, but it doesn't tell you much about the pedal, tac if applicable, or tune setup, etc).

I'll get my odbII port hooked up tomorrow to see if i have any codes.

on my 12v source that powers the tac module. should it have power while cranking or just while the key is in the on position?

from my research i've done.. yes. the motor is from a 06 silverado. so i matched the tac/pedal with my body 2006 silverado truck (module K and the 2pin plastic pedal)

I've also tried a module A tac and a pedal with the 10 pin on it.

Check for codes as Brew said this will give all of us the information needed to steer you the right direction. Who's harness are you using?

Geek , This may be a long shot but I had the same thing happen . I could power the key and hear the throttle body test mode . It would crank and idle smooth but no throttle . I borrowed a throttle body and it worked great . So I took the electronics off another and put it on my existing throttle body and the same thing happened .

I took the electronics off and started looking . When I pushed on the blade I could feel a hint of a drag when fully closed but it would flip back with no problem . I took the blade out and cleaned up the alum housing where the shaft goes thru and also sanded on the blade slightly just to clean it up . I put it back together and felt much smoother . I was skeptical but I put back together and bolted it on and it worked . Apparently if the test mode feels any resistance it will lock the throttle body and keep it from working .

I had the same problem and it drove me crazy! I found the problem by finding the values online for the TAC module pins and checked the output with a voltage/ground tester you hook to the battery and found I was missing the ground on the rear of the right head. Tbrown
