Clutch line size and slave connections? -AN3 vs -AN4

I am swapping in the NV4500 into my truck and getting to the point where I can start plumbing my hydraulics. I chose to use the factory GM bellhousing and external slave cylinder. Therefore the factory slave for the NV4500 has the rollpin style connection.

My plan is to use Russell Performance adapters to go from the factory rollpin connection to an -AN3 or -AN4 connection. That way I can use a SS braided Teflon line between my clutch master and slave cylinder. Here is the link to the adapters I am looking into.

I have 2 questions with this. Does the NV4500 external slave share the same T56 slave cylinder connection? The adapters I was looking to buy say they were designed to use with the T56 but appear to be the same IMO. Maybe someone here knows.

My second question is what size line would be better suited for my clutch operation. -AN3 is 3/16" and -AN4 is 1/4". I figured that I would be safe with the -AN3 size but thought I would see what others thoughts are
