Motor Mount Help

Right now, my 402 is mounted to a set of small block engine towers.

I bought a set of 72 engine towers with the "clam shells?" included. Thanks again fine69

Now I need to get the actuall motor mount that mounts to the engine. I'm thinking about going with solid Moroso mounts. I'll probably be going with the OE rubber type mount inside the clamshell. Could there be any problem with running the solid motor mount?

Ok, here's my main question... What size motor mount do I need to get?

This is out of Moroso's catalog. Thanks!

Sorry, that didn't show up very well. Here's a close up of the sizes.

Solid motor mount's are gonna rattle the hell outta the truck I would go with rubber or urethane for a street driven truck..

What you need are the parts that fit over the rubber mount and bolt to the block. Just go to a junk yard and get them. I bet they have tons of them. I don't think the Moroso ones will work like you think. I think they might be for a true solid mount. Not the other half of the clamshell like you need. Take the measurements of your bubber mount and see if they will fit.

I got mine off ebay for $5.

TOM-
The measurement on B = 4"
The measurement on A = 2 3/4"

These measurements are off the '72 402 brackets I sold on Ebay.
