new style console in my blazer

hello all
just thought I'd share some pics of my new style console install in my blazer
as I've seen lots of others on here too
it was very easy and to me it looks like it could have been factory, kind of a blend of old and new
I had the console lid recovered in matching material and had the stitching done to mimic the original console lid and re-used the emblem too, then painted the console to match as close as possible
I added power ports for phone charging or GPS or what ever, cause you need them
in all i think it turned out pretty good and was a very simple and use able addition
enjoy the pictures

I love what you did with the top. Going to do that with the pad on my Tuffy console.

Re: new style console in my blazer

thanks for the comments guys
the console is from a 2000-2002 ford expedition or excursion
though i cant take all the credit , i saw this in a cool blazer when i was at the good guys show in pleasanton this summer , and managed to get the guy to tell me what it was from
after that i had to have one and here it is , cant wait for summer to go cruising again

So with the the rear cup holders is it from the Eddie Bower? All the consoles I see don't have it.

Re: new style console in my blazer

Eric
not sure which one it came out of but there are two styles of consoles
a wide and a narrow
the narrow one is when the seats have arm rests and they don't have the cup holders
the wide is the one I have

Re: new style console in my blazer

Cool thanks. If you get a chance could you measure the width of yours. I am looking for one and don't want to waste my money on the wrong one.

Re: new style console in my blazer

Did you add the power ports to the back too?

Re: new style console in my blazer

I think the Lincoln navigator version had the cup holders.

Re: new style console in my blazer

I would love to have a console like this but mine is 4x4 so not sure there is anything that can be done that would work with it. PG

Re: new style console in my blazer

I wonder how it would look if the center of the console where the emblem is was done in houndstooth like the seats.
