Motor and Transmission mounts

first item in picture is a trans Dapt 4539 universal transmission cross member for 26-36 inchs, it is a 3" drop. has some paint scuffs from laying around shop, $65.00 shipped lower 48 only. summit link http://www.summitracing.com/parts/trd-4539/overview/

second item is Trans Dapt universal Chevy Small Block motor mounts, don't know part number as box is long gone..$55.00 shipped lower 48 only.

Third item is original 1972 cab mount bolts with washers and reproduction spacers...$25.00 shipped lower 48.

Does the mount require welding or is it a slip fit? Also, will it allow exhaust to run over the top of it or under it? I will take it pending the answers.

The mounting ends that bolt to the frame slip over the cross member, could weld which is what I would do, or just leave it. click on the summit link for a good picture and description. regarding exhaust, could go over or under depending on how you run your exhaust pipes. PM sent..

I am going to pass, I don't have a welder and I think it would need to be welded. Thanks for the info.

Sorry I do not know...they bolt to a Gen 1 small block

I don't see how you'd get it in the frame rails if it were welded at the proper length...

They go in..Frames on these trucks taper slightly from front to rear. Just like the original tranny cross members manage to slip in.

These make a Granny Tranny or 3 speed conversion to an auto real easy and simple, I have done both my 70 and 72 with these. This was purchased for a 39 I am building but I ended up needing a 6" drop for this build.
