The pump I got to match existing was under the part number for a 74 SBC, what a basket case lol

Could you just put an extra washer in between the water pump and the mount next to the spacer

Yes definetly. That was the original plan, but I found a couple leftover pulley shims and shimmed out the pulley instead. Much less work and it'll be cosmetically nicer, no washer in plain sight.

My project has power steering again!! Such a nice commodity to have and you don't realize it until it's gone! lol
