ARP ultratorque lube? Sealant?
The LS flywheel bolts are spec'd at 75 ft lbs. Now comes the adventure.
They also are exposed to oil pressure, so you need sealant. So I got a new set of GM bolts and used ARP thread sealant, which has the same lubricating value as their thread lube. As I was torquing the last one, it went. I hope it was the bolt and not the hole, I'm not 100% sure yet. Hoping the bolt stretched. So I bought ARP bolts, and they say 85 ft lbs. They come with ARP thread lubricant, but not a sealant. Should I use the ARP thread sealant that I have from their head bolts? I do NOT want a leak onto my clutch.
