I just used a factory harness and cut and extended it where I wanted to. Or, I just ran a new wire for Water Temp, HEI (not in the factory harness anyway) Tach, Oil pressure and rear harness was a round 7 wire was ran all the way up and over at the front as well. All had to be done custom.

However, I am not familiar with how long painless' harneses are either so it might work.
Did you come out the bottom or the firewall side of the freash air duct?

Right out the bottom. 2 1 inch holes with grommets. then filled the grommets with silicone once all the wires were ran.

Re: Smooth firewall

Ok guys. I shaved my firewall, but wouldn't you know it. I have a few holes I forgot to fill, clutch hole, and some small bolt holes here and there. Any suggestions on what to fill them with after paint?

Thanks
