Lifted 4x4 Brake Hoses
What brake hoses are you guys using for lifted trucks? Got a 70 with a 73 disk front Dana and about a 4 inch lift.
Thanks, Smitty

Re: Lifted 4x4 Brake Hoses
I used Offroad design. I have a Dana 60 up front not a 44. But they have lots of line configurations. You can call them if your not sure what to order.

Point taken about measuring the lines with the axle dropped. I have been looking at all these 4X4 sites and mostly what I am seeing is about a 23 inch line for the lift on the truck that is being sold. Smitty

Re: Lifted 4x4 Brake Hoses
ORD for sure. They offer different lengths for lifted applications and different needs.

Re: Lifted 4x4 Brake Hoses
Quality factory replacement mid-late '70s C/20 brake hoses are what I use. I tell them '78. NAPA PNs are rear - 36759 and front - 36765. I just peel the unneeded clip-on tabs off that aren't needed.
I have bought the expensive braided ss hose kit for a '72 K/20 from one of the companies mentioned above and the rear hose was wrong, wrong gender on the axle end and a size too big. I had to pay even more to have Inline tube to make one that worked as well as the correct t-block. Factory spec brake hoses do the job just fine. If you just need longer hoses and don't care about adding hoses (you don't really see) for a look, the C/20 hoses do the trick. I like that they do the trick while looking stock
