How to pull Steering Wheel 'Hub'?

How do I pull the steering wheel 'hub'? I guess it's called the 'hub', it's the part that the steering wheel bolts onto.

Oh, and the reason that I need to replace it is that the threads are all stripped, so if this involves a puller that 'bolts' into these 3 existing holes, obviously that won't work.

I tried to tap them, but that didn't go so well.

I'm all out of ideas.

Thanks

Can you drill and tap the holes to a larger size bolt?

A standard three jaw puller has worked for me before. Just make sure you don't grab anything behind the adaptor/hub.

Then you can install a real steering wheel...
