Raising Bed Floor Height
So far I'm doing a static drop with 4" coil springs / 2" blocks on my 62 C10 - with a notch...
3" coils and 2 1/2" drop spindles on the front. At least for now. If it's incompatable with SW PA road surfaces then I may relax the drop to compensate for ride issues. I have to wonder when it becomes necessary to raise the bed floors & tubs within the fleetside bed box? Anyone already gone through this willing to share their experience? Thanks in advance... rg |

Re: Raising Bed Floor Height
Holy thread revival Bat Man!
Did you ever go ahead with raising the bed floor? I am looking at putting the bed cross members on top of the rails and moving the wheel tubs up to give me an extra couple of inches for the pumpkin. Will require an additional crossmember as well I think. Would be interested to see how you dealt with the edges etc. Thanks, P.
