Pair of 2, 1973 (I believe) hubcaps that are chrome over steel.
12" diameter. Bowties painted blue.
A couple of small dents, hard to show in the pictures.
Very nice.

Nice caps. Just trying to help but I believe the blue bowtie chrome steel are 1969-1970, Stainless with blue bowtie are 1971-1972 and the Stainless with a yellow bowtie are 1973-1976.

These had a gold bowtie before being painted blue.
I think they are kind of rare. I've heard others talk here about chrome 73 caps.
They have the flat centers (not convex) and they are heavier than the chrome 72's which makes me think they are resistant to cracks/splitting.
I appreciate your input.

Very nice caps. I have seen both 69-72 caps in stainless and 73-75 caps in chrome steel. There is no "all this way or that", just "most all done one way"
