spark knock
If you have to much timing I have heard you get "sparck knock".
How can you tell if you have it? Is it noticeblaly loud or barely noticeably? Can you hear it in the cab when driving or only with the hood up and listening close? Just dont want to miss it. Thanks

Thats similar to detonation, the spark goes off before the cylinder hits the top of it's stroke. Just like a pinging, it will make the engine stutter under load.

One of the easiest ways i found to find hidden spark knock was to drive the truck somewhere where you have a wall next to you like a sunken section of highway youll hear the spark knock alot easier.
