How hard to add exterior trim?
Hey guys I have a 70 C10 and it's just plain primer grey right now. I've been looking at a few different colors and deciding on a color/trim scheme. Originally the truck was medium olive and had some trim, but the PO took it all off and primered it. I'm not gonna go with medium olive but I think these trucks look awesome with both the upper and lower trim. What are my options as far as trim goes and how hard is it to install? I'm fairly handy with tools but totally inexperienced with any body work at all. Any ideas?

Re: How hard to add exterior trim?
Depending on how the bodywork was done when the trim was removed the holes may have been filled with bondo. It's possible they are there and just covered up, if not you will have to drill new holes. If you don't have one it may be a good idea to get a factory assembly Manuel. It will show you locations for the holes. The trim is held on by various styles of clips and double sided tape. If you have another truck nearby to use as guide might be very helpful as well.

Re: How hard to add exterior trim?
If I remember correctly, LMC was cheaper on the lower trim and the car and truck shop was cheaper on the upper. Or vise versa. The LMC catalog has a good exploded view of the trim and mounting locations and hardware.

Nice, thank you guys. This doesn't sound like too big of a task.
