Lowering my 72 Chevy C20

Hi I have a 72 Chevy c20 that I recently bought and want to lower it but not sure on what to do. I has coil springs in the rear. Was just wondering what others did or what kits they used to drop their c20. Please send pictures, thanks!

I'm wondering as well. I'd like to lower my 69 C20 about 2 inches in the front and 3 in the rear. I would think you just need a spring compressor and just jack up and swap the springs.

Yeah I'd like to alot lower than that haha. I found a 5 inch rear drop kit from CPP but I wanna see pictures of it on a truck to see if thats what I want to go with otherwise bags would probably be the way to go but idk if I want to go that route just yet.

This is just my opinion on CPP's "any thing they have" mostly China made stuff, I go along with every body that says BAD things about them & there Customer Service and parts that don't fit well at all. ****Look into this sites Forums and read what people say against CPP and Educate your self first be for you buy from them or any place that sells there stuff.

As for you wanting to see what a truck looks like with 2,3, 4, 5" drops in front & or in back, get onto E C E's (www.earlyclassic.com) internet site and have a Catalog sent to you or maybe there site might have the Ability to see the trucks lowered.
Guy do your homework first and then do some more homework, well worth knowing what you are getting yourself into be for you spend your money.

I converted my 69 to front disc. Used 2.5 inch drop spindles and a one inch drop spring. 4 inch drop springs in the rear but may add a 1 inch block. I used a kit from performance online.

x2 for Early C,classics. They have a story with pics on how they lowered one of the owners C20 Suburban.
