Thanks. It has one regular light under the dash in the middle that I left normal when you open the door. The two blue lights I installed come on with the running lights for night time.

Replaced dash and steering wheel. PO decided to cut the horn sleeve under the steering wheel for some reason so that ain't working until I get tired of not having a horn and replace the darn thing. Anywho, progress!

It's been a while since I had anything to update but here I am now. I plan on a whole lot of cool pictures in the future but for now here it goes. The power steering pump went out so in my head it was a sign to clean up the front of the engine. Skip white provided the alternator, water pump, crank pulley and waterpump pulley. Jeggs provided the fan wiring harnesses. A local performance products store provided the power steering pump and pulley and somebody with good reviews provided the 12"electric fans. They are set to 185 on, 170 off. At idle the engine sits at 188 degrees and driving 40 minutes each way through the rain the engine runs at 140 degrees. It has a 160 degree Tstat. Thinking about getting a 180. Haven't decided. If I have problems in the summer with temperature, that will only give me incentive to get one of the sweet 4 core champion radiator/fan/shroud setups. Oh yeah I also got rid of the old AC radiator. The front looked ok but the back of it was all messed up. How the hell does that happen? Whatever, progress!!

So I planned on buying bare headers and going to my local ceramic coating place "B&R" for 250 bucks. Around 450 bucks all together. Every review I read on affordable headers already coated from the factory are bad and the local coating place guarantees to last. So I go to the local performance shop to order some headers. They already got the headers I want in stock. Cool. I happen to mention my plans to them and the guy behind the counter says that the ceramic place comes in once a week to pick up two sets of headers to coat them and bring them back. I was surprised. We went in the back and found the headers I wanted, they were 50 bucks cheaper than taking them up there myself and look sweet! Noticeable better sound and power off the line also!

Perfect weld job on the exhaust system, forgot the damn clamp. Had to do it again.

Baby steps but progress still the same. Out of sheer boredom I decided to fix a gash that was in the bed of my truck. Looks like a fireman got pissed off and hit it with an ax. Anyhoo, I had pretty much everything laying around to work on it so I got to it.
I cut out the damaged area and used it as a template for the replacement piece. I then welded the new piece in place, grinded down the weld flush ish, applied some bondo, sanded down flat, sealed the area with self etching primer 3 coats, then finished with 2 coats of filler primer. I should have only did one pass of filler primer because the spot looks too good whereas the rest of the bed looks like ****. Hopefully in the near future I will linex the whole bed and nobody will ever know. That is my progress this week.

Old stereo, new stereo. New rear speakers. Forgot to take pictures of the front speakers. They are cerwin vegas. Crutchfield makes it so easy for you. Free harness for the truck, free mount for the truck, free speaker connections for the OEM speaker wires, ect ect. Cleaned up and painted the OEM speaker boxes in the rear. All sounds pretty good for now considering what I had before which was pretty much nothing. While I was watching paint dry I shined up the wheels a little. Progress!!

Cleaned and painted more trim while I had everything tore apart. I will put it all back in in a few days. Let it dry nice.

New door panels, new gear shifter, new window cranks. Gotta get rid of the red seatbelts next. Progress!
