Saw this truck on the interweb
somebody project for sale
Not knocking this truck looks like a restore not rustomod.....
just looking for info.... Curious
.
I've never had a 47 and never seen this on any other truck
can somebody clue me in what the heck I'm looking at..?

On the front corners above the spring
Like shock dampening roll controllers, spring helper's
mechanical shock absorber.?

Knee action shocks, hydraulic,
correct for that year

Factory lever action shocks used on 47 through 49. They changed to tube shocks in 50.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
