Looking good. Coming along nice. My kids will fight over my blazer when I'm gone as well I'm sure.

Re: my new old Blazer. Finally painted

After a year of life's interruptions my '72 is finally painted. My son is the brains behind the paint project and I couldn't be more pleased. The color is slightly darker than the original dark olive but I personally love the color. These pics are after 7 hours of color sanding and buffing

She's got a little shine

Good eye. 33c12.50 on bfg ko2

I picked the 15x8s up and had them powder coated. Looked forever for them before I found them hidden in s misc parts listing on CL

Re: my new old Blazer

How much lift do you have? I really like how those bfgs fill the wheel wells.

Looks perfect with what looks like a 4 inch lift.

It's got a 4 " lift with an extra 1 " on the front (maybe to compensate for the double wall top). But it sits level for whatever reason)

Re: my new old Blazer

Looks good. Enjoy every minute you get behind the wheel. Ever thought about a rollbar. Much safer and just makes the truck look tougher in my opinion.i

Re: my new old Blazer

Thanks. Yeah I'm working on a roll bar. I've got the original but I don't like the looks. Either going with full cage or changing shape of the support bars. I feel a little vulnerable without one.

Re: my new old Blazer

I felt the same way as soon as I took my hardtop
Off. I also bought a roll bar and modified it.
