Re: Any interest in a Double Wall top?
Geez I love my single wall top. Much more robust in design without noticeable change in weight from a double wall. The design of the weatherstripping is also much improved, not to mention the overall quality of construction. GM used the improved design features in the 73-75 tops, which closely resemble the 72 single wall tops.

Re: Any interest in a Double Wall top?
Never weighed 'em, I don't think there's 25-50lb. difference between the two.
The double wall I have now was a freebie awhile back, good hatch, broken latch, sagging on the top. The single wall was on a '72 2wd. Jimmy I sold awhile back. I kept the single wall top and sold the Jimmy with the nice white double wall that came on my Blazer. The single wall is in good shape, needs the rubber seals replaced and is red, which wouldn't look too good on the ochre & white Blazer.
