How compatible is a 67 and a 72 suburban. As far as everything goes?

Welcome! A lot is the same and a lot is different! Are you talking body, engine or suspension? You may want to post this in the Suburban section and give us some more details on what you are doing.

Almost everything fits, but of course only some stuff is "correct" as it changed year over year.
Body-wise the 67-68 is different up front (hood and rad support) from 69-72.
