Needs some Info on Rear brakes
I'm calling on the brain trust of 47 to present to help me out here.
I'm using my original 1965 rear end on my truck. it has been converted over to 5 lug by swapping out the axles. I bought this kit from CCP. And it comes with the 74 drums. My question for the trust is... Since the 74 drums work. Can I use the complete 74 brake assembly parts? All springs, wheel cylinders and shoes? Or do I have to go with the 65 parts kits and shoes? I need to make an order. And do not want the wrong parts. Thank you in advance

Re: Needs some Info on Rear brakes
According to the part numbers on the parts stores they are the same. So, it shouldn't matter which ones you order. I checked 2 different sites.

Re: Needs some Info on Rear brakes
The '71 and up 2" wide drums, shoes and hardware should all interchange.
