Gasoline smell at WOT
Since swapping the ZZ502 for an LS3 I now get a periodic strong gas smell after getting on the throttle. Tank is in the rear (not the cab) and there are no leaks that I can locate.
I'm running all 4 eRod cats plus a factory transverse muffler, so I'd figure it would burn up any excess fuel, but I guess not. Has anyone else noticed this? I think it almost has to be in the exhaust, but that's far behind me, dumping behind the rear bumper, and this is while underway of course. Thoughts? It's not bothersome, really, but I worry about any gasoline fumes that I cannot explain.

Normally my thoughts would be running rich as hell, but you shouldn't be running that fat on an erod.

Unless the accelerator pump shot (or Delta vMAP or whatever) is too much, but you'd think, as you say, they have the eRod tune pretty close.

Re: Gasoline smell at WOT
BTW I'm not running the MAF. It has never run properly with the MAF, almost like there is a vacuum leak or other unmetered air. But I've never been able to solve that, and it runs near perfect without the MAF, so that's how I run it.
