Need help troubleshooting non fire in '87 tbi truck
Trying to help someone diagnose a problem with his truck. I am a little stumped.
His truck died while driving. He was not getting fuel or fire after it died. His ECM B fuse was blown. He still had no fuel after reinstalling the fuse. He replaced the fuel pump relay and now has fuel injecting when cranking but no start. He is still lacking spark. He has replaced the ignition control module and the coil. He has 12V at the coil. My question is what voltage should he have at the plugs going to the distributer? He is claiming he has less than 1 volt on the plugs going to the distributer?

Maybe the diagnostic system could point you in the right direction. I would check the codes and hope it tells me something. I haven't had to work on this simple system much. Good luck.
