Tell me about it...now if you're pulling anything bigger than a lawnmower trailer with anything less than a 1 ton diesel, you're way overloaded. lol. I have that same brochure except for it's the '86 version and on the cover there's a monte carlo pulling a travel trailer, a camaro pulling a boat, an s-10 pulling a horse trailer, etc. Undoubtedly today's trucks are far safer and superior tow rigs to what we had in the '80's but I don't seem to remember an accident every time someone hooked up and hit the road back then either. The '86 Recreation ratings are the same as Commercial. In your brochure the Recreation ratings are 1000lbs less than Commercial.

I found this kind of interesting. I searched for the hitch, step bumper and ball part numbers from the back of the brochure and actually found a couple of them:
