polyurethane engine and transmission mounts
I am in the process of getting all the parts together to replace the engine in my 68. I am putting in a 350 that should make a little less than 300HP and keeping the column shift 3 speed. What are peoples opinions on using the Polyurethane vs rubber engine and transmission mounts. I have had trouble finding poly transmission mounts. I would think you want them all the same. Any opinions and/or experience would be appreciated. Thanks,

You will feel ever single vibration that engine and transmission put out.
Save the urethane mounts for the drag strip. Plain' ol stock rubber is best... and cheaper! Gary

I don't have any experience with poly mounts in these trucks, but a friend of mine put them on his 3rd gen camaro. It was cool at first, but it would get annoying on any drive longer than 5 minutes. It also made every panel in the car vibrate and rattle.

I have personally not experienced the crazy vibrations people talk about with poly engine and trans mounts. I have used them before, and my truck will have them when I get it together too.

I have them in my daily truck it does transfer vibration for sure.

I have poly engine trans and cab mounts. My bent wheel still annoys me more.
