GMC Interior Paint Question
After installing the lighter, and the "deluxe" light and wiper knobs, I'm wanting to finish the interior freshening of my 69 GMC base model. This truck has a dark green/white two-tone outside, and the interior is dark green and saddle color.
The glove box door is saddle (see picture), but somehow, the previous owner managed to chip up the paint pretty bad. I want to take the door off, and rattle can it back to decent condition. Trouble is, I can't find the right paint. Any suggestions out there would be greatly appreciated.

Try here... http://www.automotivetouchup.com/
Use the original paint code from your SPID and you can get the paint in rattle cans. But it's not cheap.. About $20 backs a can. Gary

Re: GMC Interior Paint Question
Take it to a automotive paint supplier, have them scan it, and make you up a rattle can. That's what I do. I also think Rustoleum Nutmeg will be crazy close to that lighter Saddle

Re: GMC Interior Paint Question
Great suggestions. The website does not seem to list interior colours, but they have a 1-800 line. Will also check out the Rustoleum Nutmeg. If it is close, it should work, as the glove box door is not right next to any other panel with the same colour.

Re: GMC Interior Paint Question
Who does that? When I go to the local autobody supply (Wesco) they will neither match paint nor scan it nor custom mix it. Strictly "Pick a Ditzler PPG code".

Around these parts, there is automotive chain/supplier called 'Lordco' which does this...and again, around $20-$25 bucks for a rattle can. Regardless, this is pretty cheap for a colour that has been scanned to match and you are unlikely to use it up for most touch ups or for a glove box. (....note the Canadian spelling of colour...with the 'u' included...lol) All Good Coley
