There is no how, no way that I would plow in a square body, The cab corners start to bubble at the very thought of salt!!

I've plowed with Fords and IHs, its a salt thing not a Chevy thing.

You don't plow with any truck you want to keep show quality. Plowing or not,washing out body cavities is the key...even making better drain holes to allow rinsing/draining better. Best to make a little hole than to be given a large one. The draw back with that plan is if it's too freakin cold to run water!
I don't have a plow truck these days,but I think I have some pictures saved of others'.

I'll take some pics this week of mine.
It is a '78 K15 which was a beautiful one owner example. I washed it religiously but the salt got into any nook and cranny and every panel is a rusted mess now. |

My k10 had a plow on it when I bought it I quickly removed it been looking for a beater k20 to put it on as I don't like plowing with a half ton

My 80 k20 bought it sitting on the barn lot where itd been for 8 years. Little work, some new interior and Meyers e47 and it was good to go.
