Adapter 700 to a 350

If anyone has or knows where I can get just the adapter, spacer, to go from a 700R to a 350 turbo, please message me. Found the complete TCI kit, but if I could get the spacer separate it'd be great, thanks.

2wd 4wd?
2wd, get a TH350 drive shaft, we made millions of 2wd with TH350, vacuum T and hose, and a kickdown cable and carb fitting.

4wd, if you don't want to move the Tcase and play with driveshaft lengths, you need an adapter, and depending, to change the 350's output shaft to get the correct length. At least I know thats how we did it on the S10 blazer.

4WD, I know, that's the adapter I'm referring too. TCI has a kit, PT # 329900, but I was hoping to just find the spacer and cut my rear shaft. May have to bite the bullet and buy the kit. Thanks for the response.

Re: Adapter 700 to a 350

What transfer case are you trying to mount?

The common TH350 is setup for the NP205 or NP203. The TH700R4 to NP208 NP241 adapter will bolt up to the TH350 but the output shaft will not reach the transfer case input splines.
There was a rare TH350 version in the early 1980's that has a longer output shaft for the NP208. The TCI kit contains this longer output shaft and a few other parts needed for the swap.

I thought from what everyone said that the rear sfaft was to long, and you could cut it off. I'll more than likely go with the TCI kit, I can get it through Summit Pro Shop for $180. Thanks for the info.

It depends on the TH350 build year.
If it's attached to the NP203 it has a short shaft. The NP205 was used through the 80's so it's a guess. Measure it.

Re: Adapter 700 to a 350

It's a short tail 350 out of a car. If memory serves me right, we cut 1 1/2 off the tails haft and used them in 4x4. We used the 9 in in 2WD.

Re: Adapter 700 to a 350

I have a kit to adapt 700 to 350, never used it. I can't think of the kit, was a common one in the 90s and early 2000s I believe. I can get pics any part number if interested.
