NP833/MY6 4-speed OD Transmission
I have had this for a few years, started to use it in a project but went a different direction and it's just collecting dust. If you are not familiar with these transmissions, they are a 4 speed manual overdrive produced by GM in the 80's which have gear ratios similar to a 700R4. They have a small cult following and the best place for information on the web is right here.
I bought this used and then sourced a bellhousing for it. It is complete but I have not tested it! My plan was to seal the side cover and give it a try, if there were any issues I planned for a local rebuild. The shifter and knob are nice, I thoroughly cleaned the shift assembly and greased it. There is a new TO bearing. The only thing I would do is tap or insert the bosses for the shifter assembly bolts. The holes aren't wallowed or damaged, just not tight as I would like. I didn't really look closely, just bolted the shifter up for mockup. This will make a cool swap for somebody! $500 firm. local pickup preferred.

Cleaning out the garage...going into storage. What are the odds this is the only COMPLETE one for sale anywhere?

Can you check shipping on that to 98409. What does it weigh stripped down?

Re: NP833/MY6 4-speed OD Transmission
I will check on that. I would probably need to separate the bell and shifter and build a small crate/box. My time for that is in short supply, so honestly it might take a few weeks, so long as you're not in a hurry. I bet it all weighs 120lbs-ish.

Contact Fastenal via their website with the dimensions, approx. weight, they will reply with a quote. All you have to do is drop it off to them and they strap it to a pallet and ship it.
