Spare Wheel Help

Turns out my Original Spare Rim is shot. Didn't know this until I took it down from under the bed. I have the original steel wheels and drum brakes on my stock height 2 wheel drive 1968 C 10, but it seems finding another of these (is it 15x5.5 or 6) especially with the six lug pattern is nigh impossible - unless you are willing to pay a whole lot.
Since it's just the spare, I don't care if it is an exact match in looks, or if it takes the hubcap or not. Just want something that will work and not break the bank.

Was wondering about the series 12 smoothie from Wheel Vintiques. Can anybody tell me - Would one of these be the right one:

I think either one would work. probably the 15x6 would be the better choice. Have you checked the local auto salvage places? I just picked up a set of 4 -15 x 6's off of a later model 4x4 for $100, steel rims, 4 nub.

Thanks for the responses. I wasn't able to find anything in the junk yards.
I am half way between Chicago and Fort Wayne, right off US Highway 30. About 30 miles east of Valparaiso, and 30 miles south of South Bend. Near Plymouth.

My 69 came with, and still has, 15 x 5.5 steelies. With the 700 by 15 truck 8 ply tires, it really has a fat lady with skinny legs look. That's the way the General built it though.

Should put them in the basement, and put some 15 by 8 or even 16 inch truck rallys on with suitable tires. Better looks, better ride, better handling, all in one easy mod.

I suppose so, but it's just not in the budget for me.

I used one of these wheels for my spare since mine was missing - though I think of it as an emergency spare - I wouldn't drive on it with a fully loaded bed because it is rated 1500 lbs. and I am not sure whether that is strong enough. Maybe someone here will know. Also you can't put a dog dish hubcap on it unless you add some kind of clips.

When I bolted it up I noticed the center is a little flexy compared to the original steel wheel.

But it is inexpensive, easy and fast to get and a good powdercoat and at $60 it works for me. I just drive in town so if I ever ended up using it would be at low speeds and just a few miles.
