Re: Sor the AD collector who has Almost evertthing
Oh damn I wish I had the money to have things like that. I always loved "working cars" and trucks.
Police cars, Hearsts, Ambulances, Soda or beer trucks, I dig them all. Brian

Re: Sor the AD collector who has Almost evertthing
I saw this and thought it was cool as well only 6000miles and $6k. Almost worth it in parts or for a local FD as a backup truck for cheap (and class).
Sorry about spelling but can't edit it once posted. |

My sense of values may be way off. Still neat museum piece.

Re: Sor the AD collector who has Almost evertthing
Fire Trucks are very hard to move. Had a 8800 mile 56 GMC that was awesome and couldn't give that thing away. People don't like paying to ship a 1/2 ton truck so you can imagine what they thought when they tried to move a behemoth like one of these. Finally sold mine for a measly 2000.00 just to get rid of it. If you buy a parade vehicle, you better have a lot of parades in your town, because it don't take long before you realize you can't get enough use out of a firetruck to make it worth the space to store it and the insurance. They are cool to own and look at, but my advice to you guys is you are better looking at someone else's
