I was looking at the 1973 to 1987 Chevy trucks wiki page and it shows GM made trucks in China , south Korea , Chile , Iran and Argentina , i guess i should say assembled in those places out knockdown kits i would assume .

Correct. We would supply the parts for the vehicle to be assembled there.

Typically there would be requirements for some amount of "domestic content" to be included in the build.

Be neat to see if any of them are still in use in these countries .

How did you guys ship parts ? Were they just body panels nested together to be welded up in country ?

Not unusual for a foreign country to buy the outdated stamps. What was it Brazil or Mexico? that bought the old VW bug stamps.
