T-Rex driving
What's up guys I have a question and I've been looking through the forms and I haven't really got a solid answer... so is there a way or a steering column I can use that is shorter than what I have my truck? The steering column is almost touching my chest and I have to drive my truck like a T-Rex....like that commercial where the alligator is trying to pay for the check but he can't get to the bill is there a steering column that is shorter plus tilt steering currently I do not have tilt steering but the column is so long.... I need help if I can find a shorter steering column that would work in our vehicles....the only reason why I say a shorter column it's because I don't think tilt is going to be enough

Re: T-Rex driving
I did this to my C20 and there is post's on it.
You pull the column out. Drill the plastic rivets in the lower column. Tap them in 2-3 inches. Re cut slot for electrical at base. Install 1 set of holes down. Then enjoy. That or you could order a column. |

Re: T-Rex driving
I put power steering on my truck, and put a smaller steering wheel on it...not an answer to your question, but it was just enough to help me.

Re: T-Rex driving
Every little bit counts unfortunately I'm six foot one basically a tall driver I thought about having my seats cushions trimmed back so I can sit further back and that might help but I don't know how comfortable that would be
