sm465 clutch
What clutch would you use for the sm465? Its gonna see some towing but mostly street use.. Engine is just about stock but has a little better cam in it with and intake and carb upgrade.. Some ideas would be great..

Re: sm465 clutch
I'd like to get some input on this as well.. I wound up putting what was claimed to be a heavy duty clutch from Auto Zone in my 70 Longhorn this past summer when I did my motor swap. I also put in a new flywheel. It has worked very well but I will say this... My truck had its original clutch still in it. I have the original invoice to my truck and it states heavy duty clutch was added at the factory. The original clutch still worked pretty good but let me say this, the original clutch was MONSTER HEAVY DUTY compared to the new one I installed... Got my truck from original owner with 84,000 miles on it and he told me he never replaced the clutch... I use my truck like you do, with the same upgrades.

Re: sm465 clutch
https://www.summitracing.com/search/...1%2B4294923976 I had Summit give me a recommendation. I hear bad and good things about zoom and Ram clutches and this happens to be the recommendations they gave me. Can anyone give a decision on which is better or any type of other brand to use?
