Can I take the steering box from a 1987 camaro and master cylinder from a 87 camaro and stick it in my 1970 gmc pickup?

The mount for the box is all wrong and the pitman arm shaft is too small. The brake master is too small bore size and it's for a disc/drum combo and you have drum/drum

the reason why car boxes wont work is because if you look under the car and look under the turck, the cars boxes are mounted inside the frame rails and are totally different casting, and the truck boxes mount outside of the frame rail. VERY few parts in some rare cases will work on trucks, only some engine/tranny items and mostly small electrical items.
No suspension/steering or axle/frame items will swap.
Cars are cars and trucks are trucks, nothing alike.

good luck.,

p/s pump and brackets and pullies can get complicated in short order, it all depends on if the engine you have is setup with the original driver side mounted alternator and short water pump and ram horn manifolds(V8 engines)
