Repro tailgate
I'm in need of a good tailgate for my '74 Blazer project. I'm having trouble finding a good used one-They're all cracked on the top lip or bent.....
Has anyone used the new reproduction part like LMC offers? Are they any good or should I continue looking for a good used one? Thanks

Re: Repro tailgate
Also-Is the Suburban gate the same 73-91 as the Blazer? I'm getting conflicting information. Who knows for sure? Thanks

Re: Repro tailgate
I know mine are for a K5....I don't think they differ among K5's from 73-91 tho.

Re: Repro tailgate
NOS would be awesome! You have one for sale? The ship would probably be prohibitive though....Thanks for your info.

Re: Repro tailgate
The last one I sold locally for $800. Same price for either of the 2 I have left-shipping to California would be in the neighborhood of $125-150 however via Greyhound. These things are extremely difficult to find NOS anymore.
They are still bound/strapped in the GM boxes as well. |

Re: Repro tailgate
No problem. I've had aftermarket tailgates before too and I've been able to straighten or fix small dings and dents but as far as GM tailgate go those dents you can't pull out with a normal uni-spotter lol
