Smile Portland Swap Meet

Just back from the Portland Swap Meet. Had a great time and saw
a lot of nice trucksand some good used and NOS parts.

Met board member Cheyenne10 at my booth and talked story
for a while. He was very friendly and knowledgable.

Hope to have one of my projects ready for next year.

Did not see as many project trucks as last year but did see
more completed trucks for sale.

had good time

Good to meet you Bob also!! I met at least 2 other members and I bet several others but we have no way to show who we are. I was watching for people who acted or looked like members but wasn't sure. I asked a couple who weren't, oh well. most of the time I had my dad tending our stuff and I was out wandering and BS'ing.

Ended out putting more final plans on selling my 72/70 project. Now space for my others. I hate to sell anything but was getting more than my share.

We will definetly do it again. Anyone get down to PIR and see what was down there?

It often rains so this was well received surprise.

The meet down at PIR was not as good as the one at the expo center. (They also charged to get into PIR) Anyway it did not go all the way around the track... I would say about 1/2 way but there was some good stuff... my buddy bought a hood for his 50 merc. not a whole bunch of 67-72 stuff but a couple of tach dashes.

next time

Maybe next time we should post our pictures in advance. Your right lots of us were a little sunburnt and myself farly dirty by the end of the day. I would enjoy it more if we spent a little more time BSing. These boards kind of seem to add a little more camradere (Sp?).
