A/c parts

Ok guys getting ready to order some a/c parts, I called vintage air and told them
That I have an 02 5.3 ls motor in my c10 and I just wanted the evap kit since I will be using the factory a/c compressor that came with the motor. After them telling me it won't work I explained to them that it has been done before and it will work. Here is the parts list they gave me, I'm just wondering if this is it or will I need more parts or less parts.
Part# 751170 evaporater kit
# 521171 hose kit
# 021567 condenser and drier kit
# 11086- vus binary switch
Thanks for any help

Id like to know how that turns out. Ive always been under the impression that VA did its own thing independently of OE stuff. I could be wrong.

Re: A/c parts

The truck does not have factory air. And I am using the stock a/c compressor that came with the motor (02 Chevy Tahoe with the 5.3 non flex fuel)

Re: A/c parts

I will be looking to do the same thing as soon as I get my 84 up and running.

So what you are trying to buy is everything except the compressor?
Are you getting the vents etc from them?

You'll find a better price on the setup at Summit or Jegs.

Re: A/c parts

I logged in here just to let you know it does work.

Vintage air under dash kit for non AC cab.
Vintage air Condenser kit with filter\dryer.
Trinary switch to trigger electric fans when AC pressure gets high.
07 LS truck compressor with side fittings, dual bolt.
Custom AC hoses.

Blows Cold down to 42 degrees at the vent.

KEY things to note:
Truck compressors are fixed displacement and work fine, LS cars used variable displacement and wont work well.

Charge the system to Vintage air spec, not what modern typical specs say.
The pressures should read what vintage air states in the manual.
