Re: My 67 short stepside
how was the install of the tremec? did you buy the whole kit from american drivetrain, or fabricate yourself? would be really interested to know how you like that setup, and about the ease of installation, am considering it for my truck!

Re: My 67 short stepside
Ben,
It was easy getting the Tremec in place. I used an Early Classic cross member. I just ordered the 6 speed from Summit. The American drivetrain is more complete and is just as easy or easier. The good thing about the kit it comes with everything in one shipment. I really should have done the kit instead of piece milling together. Thanks. I hope to have it finished for the Lone star Fall nationals in Dallas |

Re: My 67 short stepside
Awesome work, paint is so deep and such a nice blue, cage is quite substantial, should work great.

Re: My 67 short stepside
I've not spent very much time lurking around here, and I haven't looked much at this thread since a few months after it was started. It looks like a super cool project. I can't wait to see it finished. It's exciting to see you keep it a stepside, too!! I'm in the process of upgrading my suspension with Total Cost Involved products.
Here's a couple shots of my progress.

Re: My 67 short stepside
Matt,
I like the stance. What wheels are those? Like the gun metal and polished lip. |

She was rough as a corn cobb when you got her wasn't she? And mighty sharp now.
