windshield stainless
what is the difference in 1969-71 windshield trim and a 1972 ? i took the trim out of a 70 and got a seal for a 72 . i didn't know there was a difference.and will the rubber seal work or should i just order a new seal (probably a dumba-- question)

The difference is in the lip on the stainless trim. Don't quote me on this but I think the early trim (up to '70) has a 5/8" lip on it and the '71 & '72 has a 3/8" lip on it. The rubber seal has to match the trim you have. LockDoc
