your carb and/or timing aren't right. i've got the same set up as you, th350, 2.73 gears and 2800 stall. i've got some more hp and tq than you but still, with that thing set up right it will roast them all over even with 2.73's.

are you sure the secondaries on the carb are opening? something aint right

it idles fine, although a little rough revs nice and quick in neutral and park. the secondarys are opening, i can feel and hear them when they do. does it matter that it only has about 40 miles on it since its been broke in? i can tell the more i drive it, the more it seems to drive better.
