Double wall top

I was ready to take this to the dump but thought I would post it first to see if anyone nearby has any use for it. When I went to remove it from my Blazer I had to cut into the interior side to get a wrench on the nuts inside the top because they were spinning when I tried to remove the bolts. Also the nuts inside the top where the liftgate hardware attaches are all shot. I have the liftgate but no hardware for it. This is free to anyone who wants to come and get it. I live in southwest Colorado. Thanks.

Can't beat free. Pretty common for the nuts to spin. Even my single wall has it in the front.

If the glass is softray someone will buy it, if you want to ship it. Just cut it out with a razor knife.

Thanks for the input. dirish I wish you were closer too. Hate to cut it up. Thanks for the suggestion Dwayne. I hadn't thought about the glass. I'll look to see if it is softray.

Re: Double wall top

Repairing the nuts is no big deal. We just did some.

Cut the area around the nut, and install a stainless nut in place of the old one. We use a two part epoxy called Fusor to fill the area around the nut, sometimes embedding some fiberglass mat into it.

Coat a bolt with grease so the epoxy won't stick to it, and insert it into the nut to hold it place until the Fusor cures.

Have a PM from Kendal who is interested. I'll text more pics to him. Just wanted to say he's first in line. Thanks.
