damaged wiring harness lq4
So I found a donor truck, 2004 2500 with lq4/4l80e harness, ecu, pedal, tac module...
thought my sh!t didn't stink... Fast forward to a few weeks ago, my parents new puppy got ahold of the harness. Now that I'm back to making progress on this swap, the harness is pretty beat up. What are my options? Send it off for rework and repair? Aftermarket harness? I've been searching the interwebs for a OEM harness...without much luck. Can I find ANY 6.0L harness or does it need to be from like vehicle? 2004 6.0L or 2004 lq4---not a lq9... Thoughts and TIA

Re: damaged wiring harness lq4
I have a factory harness from an 04 2500 with an LQ4 that seems complete and i would consider selling. I am going to go with a speartech or a psi harness on my build instead of mess around with this one.

Re: damaged wiring harness lq4
I'd be interested. Depending on cost obviously.

Re: damaged wiring harness lq4
Separate the wires, the dog might not have hurt many good ones. Half of them wont be used anyway, and the others will need cut or lengthened . If you have any trouble ask and I will try to help anyway I can, I have made several stand alone harnesses.

Re: damaged wiring harness lq4
before I buy anything...I'm going to break this harness down and see if I can salvage it...
trying to have a contingency plan incase that doesn't work out... I'm thinking the aftermarket harness is going to cost about the same as a oem harness---the pay for rework...
