Re: '60-'66: Do You Need an 0-90 ohm Sending Unit with Stock Gas Tank?
Saturday bump for the one sending unit left and feedback about making float arm stop adjustments for calibration since calibration between different gauges and brands vary slightly. I bench test each sending unit to an Autometer Ultra-Lite fuel level gauge:

I'll take one sending unit if you still have it.

Vincent Mayeda (vin63) is a stand up guy. I ordered one of his sending unita. I don't use PayPal because they messed me up one time so I paid him by check. He didn't wait for the check to clear before he shipped the sender and he didn't even charge ,e for shipping, Way to go Vincent Thanks

You're very welcome! Let me know how it works with your fuel level gauge.

Re: '60-'66: Do You Need an 0-90 ohm Sending Unit with Stock Gas Tank?
Update: In the last two months, I've encountered the first issues in 20+ years with the sending units I build and a fuel level gauge interface. The most recent issue involved Stewart Warner gauges and a calibration variation. In each case that has been brought to my attention the last few weeks, the Stewart Warner gauge reads full at around the half-way or two-third before the float arm reaches the full position. Due to this significant calibration variation, I do not recommend using my sending unit in conjunction with Stewart Warner fuel level gauges.
* Note: the first case that was brought to my attention was a sending unit I built more than 7 years ago that was purchased second hand and showed some damage/modification.
