Is this noise the speedo cable.
Something around the governor or speedo drive area is making this noise on my 86 silverado with a700r4.It sounds like a bad wheel bearing when your driving?

I had this problem. Sounded like a wheel bearing... like shh shh shh shh
Pulled the speedo cable by the dash and lubed it and problem solved! Hope it works for you, the sound is definitely aggravating!
