Sweet. I read you did a Painless kit but wasn't sure how the wire came to the HEI.

I have an old style MSD 6AL
Its nice but I have had some problems latley I cannot troubleshoot Hei are all but fool proof, Yes, a big thick wire to the positive running a full 12 volts You can get away with a larger plug gap except harder starting and at higher altitudes be sure to put some of that dialectric grease between the modual and the housing or it will indeed fail I prefer a GM HEI used, over a Chicom new one. just based on experience. |
