3/4 ton rear brake drums
Hey,
How does one remove the rear brake drums on a '67 C20 with floating axles? Do the axles have to come out? Thanks in advance, CrashBob

Yes, you will need to pull the axles. Be preparred; goo will run out when you unbolt them.

Re: 3/4 ton rear brake drums
after you get the axles out, you will have a large nut to remove. Then the whole drum and hub assembly will slide off as a unit.

Re: 3/4 ton rear brake drums
Does anyone know if this is the same for a 1965 chevy c20? I need to redo my rear brakes and seem that the drum/hub does not want to come out. Do i need to remove the axles to simply get to the brake shoes?
